Java Backend Developer
About The Position
Senior-level backend developer role focused primarily on backend application development and microservices. The developer will work on the CCB Deposits Team, which is building a new, next-generation deposits platform described as the largest deposit platform in the country. The core technology stack includes Java, Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka for distributed processing, and cloud platforms. AWS is preferred, while multi-cloud or cloud-agnostic experience such as GCP is acceptable. Frontend work is currently minimal to none. Candidates must share their screen for coding exercises during the interview. The role is a long-term contract located in NYC, DE, or OH. The schedule is five days per week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call duty every eight weeks and occasional evening production deployments.
Requirements
- Senior-level backend development experience.
- Familiarity with modern cloud environments and large-scale enterprise platforms.
- Experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Experience with Kafka for distributed processing.
- Cloud platform experience; AWS is preferred, and multi-cloud or cloud-agnostic experience such as GCP is acceptable.
- Must share screen for coding exercises during the interview.
