About The Position

We are seeking experienced Auto Body Repair Technicians to join Carvana, a rapidly growing used automotive retailer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large area, heavy bodywork (including Bondo repair). You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers. Carvana offers a competitive wage, a 401(k) with company match, and a vehicle purchase discount. For entry-level positions, training programs are available to support skill and pay progression.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience
  • Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
  • Ability to sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
  • Willingness to use safety equipment (face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment)
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience training other autobody technicians (for Experienced Prepper role)
  • Experience with stud welding (for Mid-Level and Experienced Prepper roles)
