About The Position

The B-Level Technician works in a fast-paced collision center, disassembling vehicles to identify repair needs and prepare them for bodywork, then precisely reassembling them after repairs according to Tesla’s factory specifications and OEM standards. The role is hands-on from day one and involves organizing and protecting parts, documenting components, and coordinating with estimators and technicians so repair plans align with manufacturer procedures. Training for Tesla- or EV-specific work is provided. The posting describes hourly pay with built-in overtime every week and opportunities to grow into collision repair.

Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician, ideally in a dealership, collision center, or EV repair facility.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
Strong commitment to high-quality workmanship and precise repairs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while maintaining accuracy.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on work in a shop environment.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Disassemble vehicles part by part to identify repair needs and prepare them for bodywork.
Document and organize parts by taking photos, labeling, and storing components for accurate reassembly.
Protect and store reusable parts while preparing new or replacement parts for installation.
Reassemble vehicles after repairs, ensuring precision and compliance with OEM standards.
Collaborate with estimators and technicians to ensure repair plans align with manufacturer procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow shop safety protocols.
