About The Position

Voss Village Cadillac is seeking a dependable, motivated Lube Technician to join its Service Department. The role performs vehicle maintenance work in accordance with repair orders and dealership and factory standards, including oil and filter changes, fluid checks and replenishment, tire-pressure checks, and maintenance-system resets. The technician completes inspection sheets, documents work, coordinates with the parts department, and helps keep customers’ vehicles clean. The position is full-time in a Cadillac dealership environment.

Requirements

Previous automotive or lube technician experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Drain and refill engine oil with the required amount.
Replace oil and air filters.
Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish fluids as needed.
Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
Add appropriate fluids to the radiator and battery.
Complete inspection sheets before and after service.
Reset maintenance lights and tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Document all work performed on repair orders.
Keep customers’ vehicles clean and immediately notify the service advisor of anything that changes a vehicle’s appearance or condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
