About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company.

The position is in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to hot or cold weather. Employees must use appropriate safety equipment. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs to meet customer delivery commitments. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to heat or cold.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
