About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Carvana describes its Inspection Centers as vehicle reconditioning facilities where vehicles are inspected, repaired, and photographed before being listed on its website. Training programs are available for entry-level positions, with the opportunity for skills and pay to progress.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
