About The Position

Carvana is hiring Auto Body Repair Technicians to perform light bodywork on vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Entry-level employees may receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress. The position requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Prep, sand, and buff vehicles.
