About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience in an office setting.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, welcoming manner.
• Ensure patients understand and sign all required registration or admission forms.
• Accurately enter required information into the hospital system.
• Collect payment when applicable.
• Notify the clinical department of physician orders for outpatient services and promptly notify ER clinical staff when individuals seek emergency services.
• Verify patient and insurance information is entered accurately and obtain authorization for services rendered.
• Coordinate registration requirements with referring physician offices.
