About The Position
The Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation (PVCC) is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to serve as a key partner to the CFO. This role will lead the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring precision, compliance, and strategic transparency. The position is ideal for an accountant who enjoys owning processes, improving systems, and seeing the direct impact of their work on community programs. The PVCC is a mission-driven organization that plays a critical role in supporting Philadelphia's economy and visitor experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Advanced skills in QuickBooks, Bill.com, and ADP.
- Proven ability to manage independent workflows, protect sensitive financial/donor data, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for maintaining clean, audit-ready financial records.
Nice To Haves
- Nonprofit or fund accounting experience is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle AP process, payroll execution (ADP), and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with marketing and program teams to manage grant reporting and budget-to-actual analysis for key initiatives.
- Leverage expertise in QuickBooks, Bill.com, and ADP to maintain robust internal controls and streamline financial workflows.
- Support the CFO by preparing periodic budget-to-actual reports, managing donor subledgers, and analyzing receivables.
