About The Position

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Basic computer and calculator knowledge.
• Planning and organizational skills for entering fuel inventories and reconciling fuel dispensed at the airport.
• Accuracy in clerical and computer entries to avoid costly reporting errors.
• Ability to understand and operate computer systems and computer printers.
• Ability to work well with company employees, oil company personnel, airline personnel, and into-plane fueling agent personnel.
• Four weeks are required to learn the details of the job, and three months are required to perform it with minimum supervision.
• Must learn the responsibilities of all phases of the AUS fuel Management System (FMS), inventory system, and reporting.

• Prior experience in accounting or inventory reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Enter fuel inventories, receipts, and transfers daily, ensuring data is accurate, documented, and reconciled to source documents.
• Analyze fuel gains and losses in the AUS fuel system daily.
• Reconcile daily book inventories by individual supplier.
• Validate airline, fueling agent, and supplier information on into-plane tickets against suppliers’ forecast information.
• Respond to AUS fuel customer requests to research past transactions, provide copies, and explain accounting treatments.
• Perform daily system backups to protect against potential hardware problems.
• Validate monthly closing reports and confirm monthly summaries add up to daily totals.
• Run the end-of-month program to clear files for the following month.
• Provide high-quality customer service while carrying out duties in accordance with established airline regulations.
• Take reasonable care of health, safety, and wellbeing at work and follow provided information, training, and workplace rules or procedures.
