Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations, including at least 3 years managing employees.
• Leadership of production and warehouse teams, including leads and supervisors.
• Operations planning, scheduling, and capacity management skills.
• KPI setting, data analysis, and clear performance reporting skills.
• Safety leadership and working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Lean, 5S, and root cause problem-solving skills.
• Inventory control and experience with ERP/warehouse systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Budgeting and cost-control skills.
• Customer focus and clear written and verbal communication.
• Sound judgment and decision-making under pressure.
• Coaching, delegation, and accountability skills.
• Proficiency with ERP and warehouse systems, barcode scanning, and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience in electronics assembly, contract manufacturing, or third-party logistics.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 management systems.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification, or willingness to complete it within the first 6 months.
• Forklift certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production and warehouse operations at the Laredo site to meet customer requirements, schedules, and cost targets.
• Plan staffing, shifts, and capacity to match customer demand and seasonal volume.
• Serve as the main site contact for customers, OES Corporate, and vendors, communicating priorities, issues, and changes.
• Prepare and manage the site budget, labor plan, and expenses, and approve purchases within assigned authority.
• Own execution of the production plan through the Production Lead and team.
• Ensure standard work and work instructions are current, followed, and used for training; balance production lines and resolve bottlenecks.
• Work with IT and the customer to launch new products and process changes.
• Oversee receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, and shipping through the Warehouse Lead and team.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories, and ensure transactions are recorded correctly in company systems.
• Coordinate cross-border and inter-warehouse moves with Import/Export, Logistics, carriers, and customs brokers so shipments leave complete, documented, and on time.
• Set, track, and report site KPIs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management and customers, explain results, and identify actions to close gaps.
• Lead lean, 5S, and continuous-improvement work, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead the site safety program and maintain a safe workplace under OSHA and ISO 45001.
• Ensure employees complete site and job safety training and that training records are maintained.
• Lead site injury and incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular safety and 5S audits, and manage environmental requirements under ISO 14001, including waste, recycling, and R2 material handling.
• Ensure site work follows the OES integrated management system and customer requirements.
• Control nonconforming product and lead corrective action with the Quality and ISO teams; prepare the site for internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Keep site documents, records, and work instructions current under document control.
• Lead, schedule, coach, and develop all Laredo site staff; set expectations and hold regular one-on-ones and team meetings.
• Recruit and select team members with HR; recommend hiring, promotion, discipline, and termination decisions, and document performance and conduct issues in partnership with HR.
• Approve timecards accurately and on time, and ensure non-exempt employees record all time worked, take breaks, and are paid for all overtime.
• Maintain the building, equipment, and forklifts in safe working order; schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Manage site security, access, and asset protection, including keys, badges, cameras, and inventory controls.
• Keep required workplace posters and site postings current with HR.
