About The Position

Requirements

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and other equipment needed to maintain community cleanliness.
• Current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Specific state regulations and requirements may apply and take precedence over the requirements in the job description.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing, and waxing.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces through extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.
• Clean vertical surfaces, including doors, walls, and windows.
• Remove refuse and recycling according to procedures using compactors, trucks, and carts.
• Move and arrange furniture in community common spaces, offices, and residential apartments.
• Deliver residents’ items to and from storage, vehicles, apartments, and other areas.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and vehicles safely.
• Set up rooms for events and assist with moving heavy objects.
