About The Position

We are looking for a reliable Utility Worker to tow and empty trash and cardboard carts as they fill throughout the shift. The role is located at Gulfstream in Savannah, Georgia. The shift runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with a second-shift differential. No experience or diploma is required, and on-the-job training is provided. The role may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Responsibilities

Operate an industrial lift and/or tugger to assist in loading or moving materials for yardage.
Bale cardboard, operate a trash compactor, and use a tow tractor to help keep production running smoothly.
Use a computer, read work orders, or follow oral instructions to determine which materials or containers to move.
Load materials and/or buggies into trailers and/or trucks.
Install strapping or chains to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Print necessary labels and manifests.
Transport buggies from work sites to a designated area.
Load and unload full or empty buggies.
Use a computer to maintain a current list of available buggies.
Perform janitorial duties, including emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, and scrubbing floors.
