About The Position

Requirements

• Current college enrollment or a completed college degree.
• Strong knowledge of math through algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and/or calculus.
• Background as a teacher, education professional, or subject-matter expert.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring assignments.
• Genuine passion for education and student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one math tutoring in students’ homes and/or online.
• Teach math subjects suited to the tutor’s expertise, including elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and advanced high school math.
• Adapt instruction to students’ different learning styles, goals, and needs.
• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with students and support their learning, growth, and confidence.
• Set preferred tutoring subjects, cities, travel radius, and availability.
