About The Position

This is more than just a daycare job. As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners and help them learn, grow, thrive, and play every day. You will create interactive learning experiences, support children’s development, lead classroom operations, and build relationships with families while contributing to the success of the center.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
