About The Position
As an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher at Tutor Time, you will provide daily care for children while following licensing guidelines and company standards. You will observe and assess children, plan learning activities, and communicate with families. You will complete training on child care, preschool, and child development, and implement the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences. The role requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The position is part of Learning Care Group, Inc., which provides early childhood education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Its research-based curriculum is intended to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have at least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
- Have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
- Meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
