About The Position

Join our HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. Our centers focus on developing Little Learners from infancy to preschool. We make early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children are happy to learn, play, and grow. The Lead Toddler Teacher creates age-appropriate learning experiences, maintains a safe and organized classroom, monitors children’s development, communicates with families, and collaborates with fellow teachers.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to create fun learning experiences.
Ensure classrooms meet TLE standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization so children can explore and learn.
Monitor children’s growth and development by understanding key milestones and celebrating their progress.
Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
