About The Position

The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a teacher for its Toddler classroom. The role supports children’s growth and development by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The teacher leads classroom management, mentors co-teachers, and implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways that reflect each child’s needs. The position also involves communicating with families about children’s activities and achievements and partnering with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals. The franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience.
CDA, associate degree, or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor classroom co-teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
Manage the classroom and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, and inspire children’s love of learning.
Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a manner consistent with each child’s needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
