About The Position

The Lead Toddler Daycare Teacher is responsible for managing a classroom and leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. The teacher implements The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum, using its characters and learning resources to make education fun and engaging. The role includes communicating with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions, and building strong relationships with families and coworkers. The position is with an independently owned and operated franchise of The Learning Experience.

Requirements

• At least six months of professional teaching experience is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must meet applicable background screening or state licensing requirements for the role.

Nice To Haves

• One year of professional teaching experience.
• An associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
• Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum and use its characters and resources to support children’s learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and foster an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
