About The Position

As a Daycare Toddler Teacher at Primrose School of West Orange, you will provide nurturing care and help children build a strong foundation for learning and development. You will build trusted relationships with families and create joyful learning experiences using the school’s digital learning platform and Balanced Learning curriculum. The role includes creating a safe, stimulating classroom, supporting children’s individual learning needs, and encouraging their social and emotional growth. The position is located at 555 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07952. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Compensation is $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on education and relevant experience.

Requirements

Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
One year of experience required.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree or CDA in Infant and Toddler Development preferred.

Responsibilities

Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided for the teacher.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space.
