About The Position
American Transport Team is seeking a Local CDL-A Driver for dry van and refrigerated (reefer) freight opportunities. This position offers daily home time with consistent freight and a typical shift length of 10-11 hours. Drivers will handle no-touch freight, with a mix of drop and hook and live unload handled by the customer. Multiple scheduling options are available, with two days off per week based on business needs and driver availability. Holiday work may be required depending on operational needs. Drivers will be assigned equipment that is maintained regularly.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required.
- At least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including road test and drug screen.
- Must meet company safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete local routes with same-day return.
- Handle dry van and refrigerated (reefer) freight.
- Perform no-touch freight duties.
- Manage a mix of drop and hook and live unload situations.
- Adhere to company safety standards.
