Requirements

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions, plus five or more years of experience operating power construction equipment; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Current Medical DOT Health Card.
• Clean MVR record.
• Dust Control Card.

Responsibilities

• Load and navigate the water truck; deliver and apply water to specified destinations.
• Maintain the truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform DOT daily inspections, including checking tires, lights, brakes, fuses, and fluid levels.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with the supervisor to receive instructions.
• Take pride in craftsmanship and work within precise standards of accuracy.
• Prioritize work to meet goals or deadlines.
• Practice good safety habits.
