About The Position
The Test Center Administrator (Exam Proctor) helps maintain exam integrity and provide a smooth, professional experience for test takers. This entry-level role includes training and is suited to someone who values accuracy, customer service, and a calm testing environment. The position is part-time at the Baker City, Oregon test center, scheduled Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a wage of $15.61 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 40% of the shift.
- Commitment to exam security and compliance.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience; training is provided.
- Microsoft Office experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome test takers and explain testing procedures clearly.
- Verify identification and maintain strict exam security protocols.
- Set up workstations and troubleshoot technical issues with internal teams.
- Supervise exams and ensure compliance with PSI policies.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and light housekeeping, such as sanitizing workstations.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including IT, to resolve technical issues in the test center.
- Support test takers with accessibility needs.
