About The Position

PSI is a global provider of testing solutions, offering license, certification, and other assessments for government agencies and public and private companies. The Test Center Administrator (also described as an Exam Proctor) helps maintain exam integrity and provide each test taker with a smooth, professional experience. This entry-level role includes training and is suited to someone who values accuracy, customer service, and a calm testing environment. The position is at 484 Viking Dr, Suite 105, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. It pays $17.75 per hour and is full-time, benefit-eligible at 30–32 hours per week. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations.
Basic computer skills.
Physical ability to stand or walk for up to 40% of the shift.
Commitment to exam security and compliance.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience; training is provided.
Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome test takers and clearly explain testing procedures.
Verify identification and maintain strict exam security protocols.
Set up workstations and troubleshoot technical issues with internal teams.
Supervise exams and ensure compliance with PSI policies.
Perform opening and closing procedures and light housekeeping, including sanitizing workstations.
Coordinate with internal departments, such as IT, to resolve technical issues in the test center.
Support test takers with accessibility needs.
