About The Position

The Math Test Proctor helps ensure students follow correct testing procedures in Stark State College’s Mathematics Department testing centers at the North Canton main campus and the Akron campus. The primary purpose of the role is to maintain test integrity. The position averages approximately 10–20 hours per week, with shifts scheduled based on employee availability. The role ideally starts on or after August 24, 2026. Candidates must reside in Ohio or be willing to relocate to Ohio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with others and serve a variety of students.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a higher education environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check students into the testing center.
• Input passwords.
• Collect written work.
• Maintain test integrity and ensure students follow correct testing procedures.
