About The Position

Unitek Learning is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Test Proctors to maintain the integrity and security of academic testing environments. Proctors administer exams according to established procedures, monitor test takers, and help ensure compliance with testing guidelines. The position is campus-based. Hours vary according to testing demands, with scheduling on an as-needed basis and possible evening and weekend work. The posting describes the role as part-time in the title, while also stating that it is a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable and punctual.

Nice To Haves

• Some college education.
• Prior experience in proctoring or testing administration.
• One of the following certifications: NCTA Certified Test Administrator (CTA), Pearson VUE Certified Test Administrator, ETS Certified Test Administrator, or Certified Exam Proctor (CEP).

Responsibilities

• Administer exams according to predetermined procedures and guidelines.
• Monitor test takers to prevent cheating and maintain exam integrity.
• Enforce testing regulations and policies to ensure a fair and secure testing environment.
• Distribute and collect exam booklets, answer sheets, and other necessary test materials.
• Assist test takers by clarifying instructions or addressing technical issues as needed.
• Promptly and accurately report testing irregularities or policy violations to appropriate supervisors or authorities.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding test content and test taker information in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
• Follow instructions from testing supervisors and adhere to standard operating procedures for test administration.
