About The Position

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Technical Trainer for its Engineering Teams in N. This role is designed for an onsite presence, primarily working from an HPE office. The Technical Trainer will be responsible for the development, delivery, and management of training programs for Engineering Teams. This includes collaborating with Engineering leadership to identify training needs, designing and creating technical training content, ensuring stakeholder approval, and managing program implementation and reporting. The role also involves supporting the delivery of technical training to HPE-N Engineers and contributing to AI-oriented initiatives aimed at enhancing training tools, improving learning experiences, and advancing enablement. AI work will encompass both structured projects with defined outcomes and open-ended, exploratory efforts focused on innovation and rapid prototyping.

Requirements

  • Software engineering background with basic coding/developer skills, tools and practices
  • 4+ years of experience with Networking technologies required
  • Technical Training Content Development Skills

  • Strong focus on execution and reporting.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills; comfortable with ambiguity and iterative ideation.
  • Curiosity-driven mindset with enthusiasm for exploring practical uses of AI in training and education contexts.
  • Demonstrated experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., GPT family models, Claude, Gemini) and familiarity with prompt engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Python or another scripting language commonly used for AI/ML experimentation.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the goals and priorities of stakeholders and support their needs with programs.
  • Plan, create and manage training programs end-to-end from program creation, marketing, delivery and reporting.
  • Live delivery of training – webinars, workshops and classroom training to engineering teams.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of training programs and identify use cases where AI can improve content and delivery.
  • Implement and test small-scale AI tools, solutions, and API-based services to demonstrate proof-of-concept capabilities.
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices relevant to instructional technology and engineering workflows.
