Surgical Tech Jobs

The Sterile Processing Tech works in Surgical Services and performs sterile processing duties across all areas of the department. Responsibilities include decontaminating instruments and equipment, processing items through steam and Sterrad sterilization, handling high-level disinfection and scopes, maintaining sterile storage, and coordinating with the operating room. The role also involves tracking instruments through the Censitrac system, preparing case carts for the next day, and taking OR calls for both floors of surgery. Schedule: 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional scheduled holidays. Candidates must hold either a CBSPD or CRCST certification. Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible.
