About The Position
Join a high-impact software team focused on delivering internal software tools for other teams at Shield AI. The engineer will create, manage, deploy, and maintain new full-stack tools, working with a variety of teams and projects. Tools may support activities ranging from aircraft physics analysis to ticket tracking. The role involves gathering and refining requirements, challenging unsuitable requirements, and implementing robust full-stack solutions that deliver value to the teams using them. Projects are highly visible and may improve workflows across entire teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Strong communication skills.
- Linux proficiency.
- Strong skills in a performant low-level language such as C/C++ or Rust.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience using frontend frameworks.
Nice To Haves
- Experience building a full-stack web application.
- Experience with zero-downtime deployments.
- Experience with the React framework.
- Experience with the Rust language.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Responsibilities
