About The Position

The Rokt Residency is an 18-week, full-time, paid early-career program for software engineers, based in Rokt’s New York City office. The cohort runs from January 12, 2027, through May 18, 2027. Residents build and deploy production services and features on an engineering team, using AI tools and automation throughout software development. They work with product managers, designers, and senior Builders, and are expected to make a measurable contribution to their team by the end of the program. Residents may receive a full-time offer to join Rokt as Builders after completing the residency. The role is in an AI-first, fast-moving environment where engineers are expected to use AI coding agents and automation to accelerate coding, testing, deployment, production investigations, and prototyping. Teams work with incomplete information and value initiative, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Compensation for the residency is approximately $50.48 per hour. Residents also receive a technology allowance for a MacBook Pro M5 and accessories, which they keep after the residency. If a resident secures a full-time offer, the stated total target compensation is $127,000, including a fixed annual salary of $120,000 and an employee equity plan grant. Final compensation depends on the level assessed in the interview process and how experience and skills map to Rokt’s career ladder.
