About The Position
A facility near Indianola, Iowa, is seeking a Social Worker to join its behavioral health team. This is a full-time, permanent role on a Monday–Friday day shift. The Social Worker provides evidence-based mental health counseling, conducts psychosocial assessments, and develops individualized treatment plans. The role also coordinates patient care with psychiatrists, interdisciplinary teams, and community agencies; maintains compliant electronic health record (EHR) documentation; promotes patient safety and quality improvement; and supports staff education.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible to sit for LISW in the state of Iowa.
- Master's degree or higher in social work.
Nice To Haves
- Previous outpatient or acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based mental health counseling.
