About The Position
As a Security Officer Overnight Television Network Lobby Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and property concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
