About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for an assigned industrial manufacturing site in Seattle, Washington. The position pays $26.35 per hour and has fixed anchor shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and weekly shift. In addition to the fixed schedule, officers may claim available shifts through the scheduling platform, potentially increasing their hours to as many as 40 per week and building toward a full-time schedule. The role provides security services, customer service, incident response, unarmed patrols, access monitoring, and accurate reporting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A TSA-issued TWIC.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor property access by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers according to site-specific procedures.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
