About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a port facility in Mobile, Alabama. The officer will safeguard clients and contribute to a professional, welcoming environment while upholding the company’s values. A TSA-issued TWIC card is required. The role involves routine patrols of assigned port areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting site procedures and emergency response, and providing customer service and clear communication. The stated pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC card.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, access points, parking areas, waterfront areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain required logs and records.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations in accordance with site-specific procedures.
