About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol in Westlake, Louisiana, at a chemical/petrochemical location. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting access control and visitor interactions. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, teamwork, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licenses may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Experience with access control or badges.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, hazardous-materials-related concerns, and critical situations; follow site procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor site access, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report access-control concerns according to site policies.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
