As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Operations Driver in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related situations with professionalism. Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when required.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and activity logs, documenting incidents, observations, patrols, and actions taken.
