About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver at a retail location in Buena Park, California, you will help safeguard clients, customers, associates, and visitors. You will drive to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. The role includes communicating clearly and providing outstanding customer service. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, entrances, exits, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site management, associates, customers, and visitors.
