About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Driver for a retail location in Anaheim, California. This unarmed patrol role involves routine vehicle and foot patrols to maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The role is full-time on an overnight schedule and pays $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the store, parking areas, entrances, receiving areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity in assigned areas; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
