About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a premier commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, following site-specific procedures, and providing customer service. The role requires calm, professional responses to incidents and accurate communication of observations and relevant information. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Accurately document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
