About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a retail and mall location in Campbell, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with customer service. The role involves communicating clearly, responding to routine concerns, and contributing to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliability.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.95 per hour. Applicants must have at least six months of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and location-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, tenant corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter as assigned.
• Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to help deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
