About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a financial institution location in Ontario, California. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors. The role includes completing reports and communicating observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to company leadership and site contacts. The listed pay rate is $18.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and location-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, parking areas, office spaces, service areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of visitors, employees, vendors, and vehicles according to location-specific procedures.
Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate site contacts.
