About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer in Council Bluffs, Iowa, serving a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role supports a welcoming environment and responds to security concerns with professionalism and integrity. The scheduled shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Customer service experience.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and promptly notify appropriate contacts.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with company and site requirements.
