About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in Sanford, North Carolina, serving a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and the property by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes professional communication, documenting observations with computer or tablet tools, and supporting a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $11.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, use problem-solving skills, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help deter unauthorized entry.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions according to site-specific reporting procedures.
