About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech industrial location in Clarksville, Tennessee, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including manufacturing and industrial settings. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role requires professional communication, documenting observations using computer or tablet tools, and responding to site needs with integrity.

The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.71 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, equipment areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and support compliance with established operational procedures.
