Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About The Position

As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution in Raleigh, North Carolina, you will help safeguard the site and provide a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, communicate professionally, and report observations with integrity. The role follows site-specific procedures and established emergency-response and escalation protocols. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor access according to site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established security-related procedures and escalation protocols.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
