About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Theodore, Alabama, you will help safeguard clients, employees, visitors, and vendors. The role includes monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting a welcoming environment, and responding to security concerns with integrity. The position pays $17.46 per hour and is scheduled for overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements under applicable state and local laws; any required license may need to be obtained before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management processes in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations and incidents as needed.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete required activity reports and shift documentation.
