About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Clearwater, Florida, to serve and safeguard clients at a retail and mall location. The unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The driving position requires a valid driver's license. The position pays $17.00 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees while following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, and request assistance when needed.
Monitor access points and observe activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, and policy violations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
