About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Knoxville, Tennessee, you will safeguard clients at a retail and mall location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is part-time, scheduled Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and pays $17.16 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, storefronts, and the surrounding perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Monitor for and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or management.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
