About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Campus Patrol Driver in Greenfield, Indiana, you will safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements.

This is a full-time position paying $17.75 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and loading or delivery areas in accordance with site procedures, and report observations and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information.
• Maintain a professional presence throughout the location.
