About The Position

River Oaks of Minnesota is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager (LPN or RN) to provide leadership and oversight of resident care services and support the daily operations of our nursing department. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to supporting, valuing, and uplifting the lives of residents and caregivers, seeking an assisted living nursing leadership role where they can make a difference. Requirements

  • Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead, coach, and support a diverse care team.
  • Commitment to person-centered care and service excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing experience in assisted living, long-term care, home care, mental health, or a related setting preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership, direction, and support to care staff to ensure duties and resident care needs are completed appropriately and timely.
  • Administering medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and applicable nursing standards.
  • Assessing resident conditions and changes in condition and ensuring appropriate documentation, intervention, communication, and follow-up.
  • Supporting and overseeing resident care needs, including activities of daily living and individualized service plans.
  • Communicating and collaborating with residents, families, providers, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Providing education, coaching, and guidance to care staff to promote quality care and consistent practices.
  • Assisting with staff training, competency, and delegation as permitted by licensure and applicable regulations.
  • Supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts within the nursing department.
  • Advocating for residents and promoting dignity, independence, choice, and person-centered care.
  • Helping maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative environment for residents and employees.
